CONVERSION CHAMBER

I'm THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED by a new devious agenda of the global elite. NYC Mayor DeBlasio signed an EXECUTIVE ORDER (just like his buddy Obama) giving men who "identify" as women..,LAWFUL PROTECTION to follow a woman into any city-owned parks, recreation centers and LOCKER ROOMS (ie; showers, changing) and say "I identify as a woman" and vice-versa. So, me, a 6'5" male, can enter city-owned women's locker rooms, showers, bathrooms (and vice versa, for women) and say "I'm a woman". This hippie/liberal bullshit has gone TOO FAR!!. I'M ASSUMING PUBLIC SCHOOL TEENAGERS CAN DO THE SAME THING, NOW.

I was engaged in a heated debate in March, 2014, with other teachers in Brooklyn, NY. I said the landmark case in California (where 2 hippie parents labeled their son "transgender" WTF!? A 5 YEAR-OLD!?) would open the floodgates. The brainwash continues.

My sister has endured so much, and she is still here, at 37 years old.  Growing up with a disabled sister and working with children/adults with disabilities.....I realized their low-functioning intellect is overwhelmingly balanced by their eternal child-like innocence and purity.  

Throughout my life, I've endured lies/deception, betrayal, disloyal, mean-spirited, arrogant, and socially-inept adults who are supposed to be "high-functioning", or "normal" (including recently).  People like my sister are free of those character flaws.  She simply needs love, her basic needs met, and proper care & nurturing.  She is a living miracle.  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, AMORET!

Reflection: Our Village is Burning

REFLECTION:

I received tragic news in my email, this past Saturday. By the time I received the news, the funeral of a familiar spirit had already passed. It was such a shock to my system. It was like I lost a family member. I saw so many signs (as an elder sees)...but, I felt restricted on how I could intervene. I'm still in shock. Symbolically, this occurred as I prepare for a major project---addressing the same issues amongst our youth.

He shared the same birthday of my eldest brother...and I swear, many of the same personality traits. I used to tell him this, all the time. He would just laugh...or, flash his big grin.
As someone who's been mentoring & teaching kids and teenagers---since 1998---I've seen many of them take different routes...meeting different fates. When there is a road as tragic as this one, I can't restrain my feelings of deep sadness and anger. To the members of my generation and my Mom's generation: there is a disconnect. Yeah, we can place blame and labels on those born 1985+....but, many people turned a blind eye....while our sons/ daughters/ sisters and brothers sought guidance. They needed a father/ mother/ sister/ brother....but the bonds within our village were steadily breaking. I did all I could as an activist: mentoring, petitioning, organizing, recruiting, conferences....but, I was dismissed in the 1990's and early 2000's as being "too deep". The ghetto-clowns held a bigger microphone & drowned-out our cries of "Yield---danger ahead!" And so our village continued to burn.

Many from my generation (and older) were worried about shaking their asses in a club...popularizing "nigga", and "paper-chasing" dollars. But those youngsters were observing us. Once the smoke cleared, those youngsters were left without a compass...clamoring onto anything or anyone they felt would edify their spirit...validate their existence...or, simply guide them. Regardless if the energy/group/doctrine was negative or positive---they needed to fill the void which they were born into. They needed navigation.

I wish I could've been more of an elder for you, Adam. I wish you would've been more receptive. I'm so sorry.

Black Lives Don't Matter....to THE MEDIA WHORES

Okay, I had ENOUGH.  I'm so enraged, right now.  I'm so sick of the ACLU, National Action Network (Al Sharpton's organization) and other organizations with millions of dollars---jumping on a trend and continuing neurotic behavior.  I know they're trying to re-live the urgency of the 1960's, but....it's time for a new strategy.  Using these out-dated, "protest"  tactics are equivalent to using Windows 95, in 2014.    Umm...exactly how did "Occupy Wall Street (2011)" solve anything?  Besides mostly liberal, "progressive" white students sitting around in a park, or holding up traffic to have cool stories to tell their peers about how they "stuck it to the man!".....how have things changed, in 2014!!?  As a tall, black male who's stereotyped daily, I empathize & sympathize with black youth and families who encounter rogue police officers.  I, myself had to deal with police harassment, and just daily bullsh*t from: those who claim to be "hip" and "open-minded".

I lived through the protests and outrage for the deaths of Eleanor Bumpers, Amadou Diallo, Sean Bell....the injustices against the "Central Park Five", and Abner Louima.  I know the death of Eric Garner was clearly preventable.  HOWEVER....black lives don't matter TO BLACK AMERICANS.  Because if they did, why aren't we using this energy to protest the DAILY deaths of young, black males....at the hands of BLACK MALES!!?  Gospel legend Marvin Winans was car-jacked and beaten---by a young, black male!!

Think about Ebola, or any epidemic plaguing a particular town, or community.  Now, I want each of you to gather your independent research about the daily murders within black communities, across the U.S.A.  You mean, rappers can't ban together (with over a billion dollars, combined) and draw DAILY attention to the epidemic of Black American violence?   Is it only Al Sharpton and the ACLU who'll use these "police brutality events" to steer people into their own agenda?   Do I need to see Al Sharpton, every time I turn on the TV?  Exactly how many self-appointed black leaders are jockeying for the position of "the new Martin Luther-Garvey-Malcolm-Huey....leading us to the Promised Land?   Al Sharpton, the ACLU, NAACP, Rainbow Coalition, the Hollywood elite, Democratic Party, the International Socialist Organization and Hip-Hop stars---can't use their funding to bus all of these "hip progressives"  to march in Bed-Stuy, Brownsville, CHICAGO (umm....talking to you, OBAMA) ....Richmond ...Baltimore, Newark, East Orange, Compton, etc.? Many working class, or poorer Black/mixed-Spanish-speaking Americans are stuck in these neighborhoods.  They're trying to make an honest living, but they're held hostage by FEAR. THEY ARE SCARED OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE.  This IS an epidemic.  THIS is a serious problem. THIS requires a f**king MARCH.  It's not enough to wave banners, provoke police officers, delay traffic...and then return to your comfy home in a "safe" neighborhood.  If you are such a revolutionary----LIVE IN THESE AREAS.  I don't mean via gentrification, allowing you and your higher-income friends to flood the community & change its tapestry.  I mean, live within the area AS IS, in one of the housing projects, or apartment buildings----for 2 years.  Hell---1 MONTH.!!

Do this, and I'll give you the official, "LOOK AT ME, I'M A MARTYR!" medal...which you long for, so much.
